Update: Out of the local hospital and back home for a few days. A-fib, shortness of breath (on O2), fluid retention, brain fog, extreme weakness, and butt sores are issues. Diaretics were doubled for a few days by my PCP but fluid retention in ankles, lungs, and perhaps upper belly... Read more.

I had planned on long distance and in person care from the Cleveland Clinic. However, since hospitalization was needed almost immediately after I got home I have decided to do my follow care locally. I need recommendations for a cardiologist, close to Appleton,WI, to follow on my care following open heart mitral valve repair surgery at the Cleveland Cinic Nov 1. Dr. Dr Gillinov did my surgery. I arrived home last night. Long day air travel. Your thoughts? Thank you.
