Today marks 4 months with my new aortic valve!! It's gone so fast! I started lifting yesterday with my husband at my side. I've been doing light exercising but I'm ready to go all in and get back at it! I'll be starting TurboFire at the beginning of the week... Read more.
Hi Laura! By your comment about your valve not being permenant, I take it you chose a tissue valve? I am two weeks post-op with a bovine valve. I'm doing great so far and I'm so thankful that it's over. But the thought that I'll have to go through all... Read more.
Great recovery! Just like you, others here, and me who are betting on the valve in valve procedure for the next round.

Wow, 3 months ago today, at this time I was going through surgery. It has flown by! I'm feeling great but it's hard to get out with this ridiculous Iowa weather. It's -4 today, burr! I feel as though it was all a dream, a good dream. My experience was... Read more.
