I had minimally invasive mitral repair surgery and I took 8 weeks off. I also attended cardiac rehab which was very helpful. I went back to work the first week working half days.

Every time I think I am healed, something new pops up. I am 5 weeks post op Aortic Valve Replacement and still get new things pop up. Last couple days was discomfort around chest (not pain and not on the incision itself).
