Send Clare a NoteAbout Me
I had been diagnosed with high blood pressure some time ago. After a change in medicine in Oct 2013 I started feeling worse instead of better. I switched to a new primary care doctor in November. She wouldn't change the meds but ordered an Echo. I was diagnosed with the bicuspid valve and sent to a cardiologist. The cardiologist gave me hope that it would be 10 years before the valve would need replacement. After a TEE, the story was still the same. A routine CT scan however showed a 5 cm aneurysm. Surgery was less than two weeks later, 1/9/14.
