Anyone have issues of blood in your urine , bloody nose or any other "side effects" from medication for blood thinning ? My INR is in range , and I am taking 36 mg of warfarin.
In my humble opinion you need to contact your doctor if you have blood in your urine.
Yes, Indeed, Jeff. Please contact your physician. 36 mg of warfarin doesn't sound correct. It's usually around 2.5 or 5mg daily. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
One other thought, if you can't get ahold of your doctor today: you might consider eating green vegetables such as spinach, kale or the like which contain vitamin K since hematuria (blood in your urine) might indicate a high INR,
Lenore, yes that's my daily intake 4mg to 6 mg daily sorry I was not clear. 36 mg is my weekly count.
Been to the dock , things have cleared quite a bit. I have been back running and working out pretty hard. He thinks that might contribute to the cause of passing blood. So I am back to walking my two mikes a day.
Prostate checks out . Jan 20 I get my bladder scoped. Thanks for everyone's input. My valve is ticking away and my blood pressure is awesome 118/80 thumbs up!
Glad to hear that was your weekly dosage. Keep ticking.
