I am a 63 year old Male in pretty good health. I work for the US Government as a Planner. About 1 1/2 years ago, I got an opportunity to move from Kansas to join the Plans team in US Africa Command (Africom) in Stuttgart, Germany. I am a retired US Army officer; my wife and I have spent many years in Germany, but we never thought we would have one more chance to come back. So, in October 2012 we packed up and moved to Stuttgart for a three-year tour. I rapidly developed severe Mitral valve regurgitation and atrial fibrillation as well.
