About Me (In My Own Words)
Diagnosed in 2023 with bicuspid aortic valve current condition is moderate/sever. Noticing a little more shortness of breath now so planning on getting the surgery done within the next year, provided things don't progress further or symptoms get worse.
The plan is a June 2026 operation. Now the big decision - Mechanical or Tissue. I'm having a hard time deciding if lifelong warfarin is the right choice for me. But, not sure I want to go through another surgery in the future.
