ROSS needs resurgery at around 5-8 yrs after Mechanical Valve needs to be changed at around 15 yrs. Is it so...?? Pls guide...

Hello, Hari I know nothing about ROSS, but I was told my cardiologist that tissue valves have an average lifespan of 10-15 years whereas mechanical valves last longer. It is uncommon to have a second surgery if you get a mechanical valve (I'm guessing) I hope you find this information... Read more.

A team of Pediatric and Adult Cardiac Surgeon and cardiologists have jointly decided to wait for Hari to get him achieve his optimum growth. It's grouphy time ..... Hari in front, his dad Ketan in back, his mom Kirtida and uncle Dushyant-that's me in white. It's exactly 12 hours left for surgery...
