yes it is possibly the meds or a reaction to all the IV's it will get better i had a little nervous stomach after operation
They've actually had me on prilosec since I was in the hospital, for fortunately avoided the nausea. By the time of my discharge I was doing at least 4 walks a day in the halls. (the first day using a walker until I got confidence back)

Yes, I had a lot of nausea, I could hardly get more than a few bites down. Sometimes only a Popsicle seemed appealing. It goes away in a while.
I had nausea early on. They gave me meds for it. It went away though after the first day or two after I stopped using pain meds. Keep on going. I am 12 days postop and day 2-5 were probably the greatest improvement. You'll b there soon. Drn
I never experienced nausea. Keep on healing it takes time. Be patient with your body you will notice the improvements in short time:-)

Wonderful news. Keep up with your breathing exercises and walking. Be extra kind to yourself for the next month or two.

HI all! Claire's daughter again! This morning they were able to remove all tubes and the main IV in her neck and she has MOVED UP to the next floor out of icu. Making great progress!! She sends her love to all of you and says for anyone with surgery... Read more.

Hi all, Claire's daughter here. Her surgery went well on Thursday morning with no surprises. She did go into a fib but they have gotten that under control. The afternoon of her surgery they were able to take her off the ventilator. They removed one of her drainage tubes yesterday... Read more.

Good progress, I wish her a steady, continued recovery
Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. She is currently sitting up in a chair rather than in bed and has been for 2.5 hours. So still making progress!
