About Me

46, male, 225lbs. Active. Love mountain biking. Asyptomatic. Annual physical April 2015 - heart murmur detected. Testing confirmed severe aortic regurgitation, no stenosis. Cardiologist and surgeon not sure exactly of the cause - tricuspid with deformed single leaflet - irregular bicuspid that is torn/shredded They will no when they break me open. Edit: Was a bicuspid variente valve. 3 leaflets, 2 fused together. Plan A: repair Plan b: Edwards Magna Ease tissue valve (moo!) Big day scheduled 10/21/15 @ Penn Medicine in Philly. To all out there best of luck. I'm praying for all of us! Update 10/21/16: I year done and still here. Life has returned pretty much to normal. Have my 1 year checkup coming up. Hoping my heart remodeled. Feeling good. Joined a gym. Trying to be more healthy and see how long this new tissue valve lasts. God bless you all!
