Today is the one year anniversary of my bioprosthetic heart valve and pacemaker, and all is well.

Anybody else have sternal wire issues? I started having sharp right sternal pains with sneezing and certain movements 9 months post SAVR. The wires look OK on X Ray and CT, but the surgeon suspects a loosened wire and recommends removing it.
