I'm glad you were able to move finally, and I can tell you that each day brings so much progress! A food tip - the Nepro protein shakes are pretty good and the nurses can get them for you any time, if your appetite starts to come back. Congrats on your progress and enjoy the view!

Jim Jones William - This view brings back vivid memories. We should all write our names on the wall there so we can keep track of prior HVJ residents. The first day I looked out the window I felt utterly detached from the activity in the park. As days went by I found myself reconnecting to the world and engaged in watching the happenings in the park. Heal well today!

Selma Kaplan I think I had the same room, back in May of 2012. The view was considerably less white, however. I agree with Jim -- it seems like so many of us looked out over Central Park. Can you imagine a reunion of all of Dr. Adams' patients? That would be some fine party! Is Tree still nursing in ICU? I remember him asking me if there's anything I needed (aside from those delicious ice chips). Smartass that I was, I said, "Oh, just a large coffee and a view of the park." Well, he scored me the view of the park, anyway. Happy healing.

Not a problem, but fun to notice (as if I needed it). My wife tells me soon I'll need to use conditioner... :)

Wiliam Height Duane & Barry get used to be shaved all over. I was shaved the morning of operation and the clippings stayed with me which lead to some itch. Ole, I had two valves repaired via mini so the hair hides it well, but I may do a little manscaping (ever do that Duane?) once I can do a push up and get some muscle back.

sa cont Glad to know, I am 6 week post and the hair is just really starting to come back and my chest itches like crazy some days. Hope it looks as good as yours. Now if my beard comes back soon, when I return to work no one will know me, they have never seen me with out a really full beard!
