I'm sitting here tonight thinking about how last year on a Wednesday February the 17th I was in a ICU recovering from having open heart surgery earlier that day. I can't believe Friday will be a year.

Your scar looks great Whitney, aren't you glad it's all over?
Yes! I am!! Lol! I hope your recovery is going well, Jan!
You look good. My scar is still way more prominent at 2 years....glad you are doing well.

Your scar is healing well. Hope your recovery keeps going great!
Whitney your scar looks similar to mine! I have a pounding heart beat a lot of the time, too. I also have a resting heart rate in the mid 90's. I was told it was because I'm anemic. And as my hematocrit goes up my heart rate will come down.... Read more.
Gail, I've been coughing up stuff since my surgery. I guess that's normal? I hope it goes away soon cause it sure does make my chest sore.
Oh. got it. It took me 2 weeks to cough up one little tiny glob of nothing. But I was ready to throw a party!!!
Your scar looks awesome! Glad to hear you are doing well!
