tina fluhrer BENTLY!!! ~ how awesome to have him. I shared this photo with with my girlfriend and she cracked up because that was me, she said, "wow, very similar indeed" ......I actually had to take a few "sorrow selfies" because I had never felt so sorrowful and needed to capture myself with such concern. I only shared my sorrow art with my husband, mom and two best friends. It brought them a chuckle for sure. Today Joe has the green light from all the specialists and should go home Monday ~

tina fluhrer Hi clay, He has said his past couple nights has been a tad uncomfortable. He slept in his own bed and then decided to sleep downstairs on a guest bed the 2nd night. He is resting on the couch and up walking 5 times a day. Today has been his best day. He did end up with a kink in his back from his first night home. I will check in with him tomorrow. My family was with him today for an hour at Christmas dinner and they reported to me that he ate at the table with them and sat at the bar. His son told me that if you would not know he had surgery, you would not notice anything. Good report. He is very stable on his feet too. I will check with him tomorrow on how his nights are going.

tina fluhrer Thanks Adam and Tammy ~ Quick update. JOE IS DOING GREAT! Clay, he has been doing good at night. just a bit of night sweats and he had his best hours of sleep last night. This morning he made himself his own breakfast and cleaned everything up behind him. He is the "chef" in the family with a capital "G" for gourmet. This man feeds us all so well!!!!!!!!!! Everyone awaits for an invite to go to his house to eat. LOL. So very good news from Joe. He has done a good amount of walking each day. ~ His meds are going longer in between doses as of day 5. He has a bright outlook!
