One year ago today I was undergoing open heart surgery for an aortic valve replacement. Today I am so thankful for my medical team, friends, family and to my many friends on this site, especially Rob Sparling- my anniversary buddy!

Nancy, thank you for the update, I soon will go thru the same surgery and it's reassuring to hear someone else's experience and recovery. You look great and I hope I soon will be posting a picture like yours. Congratulations
