This is my family! This is my support system that will get me through my aortic valve surgery in the next 1-5 years! My wonderful husband of 21 years, my daughter 15 years old and my son 10 years old! This is who I live for everyday!

Welcome to the forum. It's not that bad having heart defects. Everyone here is in the same boat. You will likely have echocardiograms, heart caths, cardiac ct's, among other tests keeping up with your heart status.

Lynee Casper, I found out about my BAV after this vacation last July 2015. I found out in September 2015 this year.
