I realize how grateful I am that my heart problem can be fixed. It is amazing the advancements in heart valve surgery over the last 58 years. Yet there is the other part of me that is asymptomatic with very little symptoms, but not enough to disrupt my daily life... Read more.

I am asymptomatic as well and feel exactly as you do. Thanks for sharing. Its nice to know that I am far from being the only one feeling this way.

I agree but if we do not do it we will end up with congestive heart failure or damage to the heart. So unreal.

It is hard being asymptomatic, Linda, - I am too, and have been in some sort of denial for 18 months, knowing they'd clearly got it wrong! But like you, I don't want to end up with heart failure. So couple more days, and I'll be heading into recovery mode....and... Read more.
