5 weeks post op from my right side thoracotomy mitral valve repair. Started driving last week (I use hand controls) and riding my hand cycle slowly around the neighborhood. Pleural effusion is getting better. Still a bit more sore than I was expecting, but I have pretty much been transferring... Read more.

So good to see you recovering well Kristine. Sorry you still are dealing with the pleural effusion but it's getting better yeah! The soreness will get better with time. Look at you riding your bike, you look great! Thank you for your positive post and God bless you 🙏❤️
