Erik Jensen And continued on to do a hemi-arch replacing the underside of the arch. He put in a size 27 ON-X mechanical valve and a continuous Dacron sleeve right up through the hemi-arch. Feeling pretty beat up right now but hoping the chest tubes come out tomorrow.

Joey Hardee Awesome, Erik. I remember how you are feeling now. You are doing great! I had almost the exact same thing done, only I had a bio-valve installed. It is a basic "Bentall" procedure. It gets better! Trust me. :-) Keep plugging away and you'll be home before you know it. Stay on that spirometer and walk a little more each day! I think that's part of why that bed is so uncomfortable. ;-) Will keep praying for you.
