Often not spoken too much about , the INR levels after surgery can certainly be a journey on it’s own . Finally after 9 months my INR has stabilised . Feeling happy that it has finally found it’s place

David, have you noticed that your diet has changed after having surgery? I’ve struggled with eating properly….overeating, or eating food with too much salt or sugar!! Having to be watch my INR levels will definitely be another hurdle for me!! Any advice helps !!!
Hi Chad You will manage this as well. It is mostly K-vitamin rich food such as spinach, broccoli etc that affects. I love candy and also salt and that does not really look like it is affecting. I also take some blood pressure medicine to get me down to a... Read more.

Yes very true but you will very likely find your balance point. It took me a while and anxiety in front of each test in the beginning. Now I am much more calm. I know it can vary a bit
Hi Chad, I have to avoid the green leafy vegetables probably like yourself and I also found going back to Cross Fit doing high intensity fitness really impacted my INR and I’m now on 10 mg a day
David Same for me even if a I eat a bit of it and really try to eats the same over the weeks. The increased training also had a big impact on me where the had to increase the dose and now I am on 7,5g per day. Measured now... Read more.
Consistency doing everything from eating to working out and activity is the key to living with stable INR. I haven’t had surgery yet so all the info to prepare me mentally is helpful

To mark my 6 months we travelled to Vietnam and walked a hill in Ninh Binh - just outside of Hanoi . So amazed everyday that my heart ❤️ performs like it did when I was 21 ! Besides the heat , I climbed with ease ! There Is Hope... Read more.

18 weeks post surgery and competing in the MASTERS GAMES for CrossFit. can't believe I am here already !

It only took you 3.5 months to get back to doing CrossFit with the On-X valve… Wow!! I’m definitely worried about getting back to training and working at my job that is physically demanding, so thanks for the dose of Hope this morning!!!
