Dan Baltazor 2 years!
So as I write this today (11/12/20) I’ve reflected on how much my whole experience with my heart valve journey can still be at the fore front of my mind and I’m just fine with that. I’m so very thankful to be living my life on this side of recovery. Stephanie and I have been reflecting these last few days remembering how all this felt leading up to surgery two years ago. These two years have gone by so fast. We’re both so incredibly thankful for these days that have been given to us. I just wanted you to know that I’m feeling great and to those in the waiting room, just hang in there your life will resume again and you’ll be thankful for that. I know I feel that way!

Dan, the pup will be glad to scrub-in if it means he/she gets to see you as soon as possible! We had a tough time shipping our dog off to grandma’s house for the week we were in Cleveland. I posted the pic but not sure it was ever visible on the feed. They get so sad without us!

Rob, we did see a picture of your sad pup in the car. We luckily won't have to send ours anywhere, but I'm thinking it will be a challenge keep the lap dogs off his lap for a bit. We are wishing we are off camping right now, but we are very thankful for the times we did go.

When I arrived to the hospital, it was almost surreal. I checked in and from that moment on, I was treated with calmness and compassion.
