Great news! It is really surprising how much less pain (but more fatigue) than one expects. It sounds like you are doing very well.

Awesome. I had my mitral valve repaired almost 6 years ago, and it still doesn't leak at all. You'll do great. I see you'll be at Cleveland Clinic, which is perfect. (I grew up in Rochester. Just don't have it done at Crittenden!)
