I returned home yesterday! My minimally invasive mitral valve repair surgery was Friday 8am. I went to the cardiovascular ICU for most of the day,and was moved to a 'step down' room (still part of the CV ICU) later. Because my lungs were verly clear on Sunday, they discharged me... Read more.
