Get that second opinion and even a third. Some doctors are hesitant to operate because of the risk. Others have knowledge of techniques to lessen that risk. Shop around. Maybe he can find the right doctor.

Update: we are sending out medical records to Dr David Adams office today. They will call us as soon as they have a report.

I just read a profile (Dr Ibrahim at Penn, I think) on this site, who specializes in high risk. I'll look further tonight and post if I find it.

Yes, search in upper right for Dr Michael Ibrahim. I don't know him but I think people have mentioned he's their surgeon in this community. Hope it helps.
