Marie, just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you as your surgery date approaches. So glad that you're not having issues as last time :). Also wanted to let you know that you can do your pain management on Tylenol! I had to as well as my surgeon didn't want me on NSAIDS and I had zero tolerance for opiates. If you can convince the staff to give regular strength Tylenol (650 mg) every 4 hours rather than their preferred extra strength (1000mg) every 4 hours, you may fingers it more effective. Sending healing wishes your way!

Catie B Marie, I'll tack on a note to say I found Tylenol very effective also. I did have a Fentanyl pump the first few days, but not for long, and I can't take NSAIDs. Sending prayer for your upcoming surgery.

Thank you for checking on me. I've been off the blog for a while, just busy with work, getting ready for the holidays early, tasks I won't want to do while recovering, and just plain exhausted. but my spirits are good and I'm back on the board! How are you feeling, are you recovering ok?

Lila Richards I feel pretty good! It's been 4 weeks and all is healing accordingly... occasional bouts of nausea and my appetite and taste buds all weird...I drank a gallon of buttermilk so far! LOL!
But you need to get some good rest before surgery and not wear yourself out! I hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I''LL touch base before your date! If you have any questions, just reach out anytime!

Marie Leighton Hi Lila, still thinking of you. Although my surgery is next week now, the visualization of you and I going in together was so powerful, and I find myself feeling connected to you, and thinking of you so often. I pray you are improving daily. I have not had much luck in resting, still working, getting things done and not sleeping much. Well better go pack, we fly out Tuesday. 💜💙

Lila Richards Hi Marie, thanks for checking on me! Yes I feel we're connected since we were supposed to be having surgery at the same time. I remember that your words of encouragement made me feel at peace! OK now it's your turn...I know you will do swimmingly well and I'll bet you'll have a speedy recovery!
