Hi Dave, I am looking at something similar to what you had, except they feel they can save my valve. Nonetheless a similar procedure. I am interested to hear more about your recovery and pain management experiences. - Peter

Dave, thanks, and yes, the plan is the David valve sparing procedure. My valve appears to be fine.

That is a really good thing. As I understand it...you will have a much greater length of life span. Or at least valve trouble free. Plus blood pressure issues are better with your organic parts. Or as many as you can keep. That's what I have read and heard anyway.
