Holding you in my prayers today. I had the same thing happen to me - I was misdiagnosed with a prolapsed mitral valve almost my entire life until I saw a cardiologist in LA. Once we started tracking the BAV, I felt better about knowing what was really wrong. The first days are the toughest after your surgery but everyday will bring improvement. May God's healing grace watch over you today.
