Hi Bob! That is quite a story. You have been under some stress for a long time.  You will be fine. 
I will pray for your team, and that the Lord guides you to peace, during, yet another stressful time in your life.
I also found that interesting, about the pain in your legs, and fatigue. Our son has these symptoms, he's older, but they still don't know what it is.

You can do this!! 

 

Sounds like you have been through it! You will do great and for what the future holds I believe it will be just fine. These surgeries are amazing and when you wake you will have little pain and it will only take a short while for you to get your wind back. Do exactly what the docs & nurses tell you and you will be great! Ya know I was pleasantly surprised with my recovery. It was not bad and honestly I had little pain. I am now 10 months post AVR and I feel great. My strength is good and my valve is doing very good. I chose a bovine valve for 15-20 yrs and then I will be able to have a VIV TAVR a couple of times. Life is good and so grateful to live in an age where these surgeries are so successful. Be positive and expect the best. Your hospital is top notch - they will take great care of you! Hi Bob I'm new to this community and I have to tell you within a few days I've gained such wonderful friends. It sounds like you've had a long and hard road with your wonderful heart. I too I'm 60 and have stenosis of the aorta. I will be getting my cardiac catheterization on Monday followed by my surgery sometime in January or February I wish you all the best of luck and this is a wonderful group I'm still getting used to all the different things that they offer but the one thing they I don't have to get used to is all the wonderful people I've met here so far prayers are with you dear good luck

Hello Bob, welcome. As Tom said what a story. You are going to be in good hands at the Cleveland Clinic as you have before. Surgeries are always scary but you will do well and come out feeling so much better. I will lift you up in prayer for everything to go well and you to have a speedy recovery. What a story. I believe you are very prepared for this next obstacle.  You chose  a great hospital and i am sure you have a lot of family support. Just think that on Dec 31 you should be home and be watching college football and starting the new year with lots of optimism.
