Hi Adam, My name is Thalia Faunt and I am a 39 yr old mother of 2 girls. I live in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia and have Aortic Stenosis. I am having the Ross Procedure performed on me by a Peter Skillington who is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. It is will be performed at the Epworth Private Hospital. Have you any advice on how to promote the healing of the scar tissue and also how to go about the coping mechanisms with regards to my girls and life post-op? How much to kids need to know? Thanks and a Merry Xmas to you.
