I have no real family here in Az to help me and I live 2 hours away from the hospital, so I have to stay in a short term rehab facility. Anyone else out there that has done this?

My mom had a surgery two years ago and went to short term rehab. They took care of her so good until she felt strong enough to go back home. She did not want to burden us by living in with us, so she decided that short term rehab was... Read more.

I won't have any help either. I will be asking the surgeon to have me placed in a short-term rehab facility too.

Hello Rondus, My friend had knee surgery recently and went into short term rehab for 2 weeks. Her experience was very positive. Had a very safe, kind environment, staff to check on her regularly and very good meals.

Question. So my Dr cannot due the minimally invasive because of my large breasts is that normal

Welcome to the community! I was about to direct you to Kim Shuba, but I see you found her already. My cardiologist is at Banner UMC in Tucson, but I went out to the Cleveland Clinic for my mitral repair.

Welcome! You'll find lots of info and support here. I too just had my valve replaced with st Jude and I can occasionally hear the squeak. So far it has not bothered me where I cannot sleep. Being one week post surgery, I'm trying to get used to all the... Read more.
