"Great surgeon who has been in practice for 32 years. He is head of cardiac surgery at Banner Boswell Hospital. He did a minithoracotomy to replace my aortic valve with the latest Edwards Inspiris Resilia valve with the capacity to have TAVR surgery in the future when I need a replacement. He will answer all your questions and has the ability to put you at ease. His patient reviews are all 5 stars. I am able to go back to most of my normal activities 5 weeks from my surgery. I definitely recommend him."

"Dr. Kathuria replaced the valve via a mini-thoracotomy. My scar is only 1.5 inches on my right upper chest. He is a great surgeon and this was an emergency surgery. I got little education from him and had to do my own research. Others that had him do surgery went through education program in his office. The Valve he used was an Edwards Bovine Valve. Dr. Kathuria was highly recommended by my cardiologist at Mayo Arizona. "

The follow up while I was in the hospital was remarkable and the follow up office visits were very comforting and educational as well. "This surgeon was my angel. I had to have emergency open heart surgery and he saved my life. I had a triple dissecting aortic aneurysm and it turned into and arch repair a bypass and replacing my aortic valve.
