We have been trying to get a response from global patient services at Cleveland clinic to book an appointment with Dr Roselli for my husband who needs urgent surgery for a 6,1 ascending aorta .
We live in Singapore and cannot figure out how to get a reply Can anyone advise p,ease?
Have you tried contacting Dr. Eric Roselli’s team directly (011-216-444-0995)?
When I began my quest at CC, I called my surgeon’s office directly and requested a surgical referral. I was asked to provide:
- Recent TTE (sent electronically or mailed CD)
- Recent Cardiologist (I didn’t have one)/PCP notes (faxed)
- Insurance/Bio info on forms they sent me (faxed)
After they received the above, I was told it would take seven days for review.

Peter Linn Hi Rini, there is a lot of information on this site. There are also a series of excellent YouTube videos by several doctors from Cleveland Clinic, including Dr Roselli and Dr Johnston. I have viewed them and learned a lot. I believe that knowledge is power. This is a good one to start with. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZqPi8Q7oII, but there are many others. I am facing something similar. There are many here who can give advice and tips. I have found the heart warrior community to be extremely helpful and eager to support.

Jill Boroniec Hi Rini - I am also a CC alum. Feel free to email me as well at jillianboroniec@gmail.com. My surgery was 5/12/21. My husband and I came to Cleveland the week prior to get used to the area and complete the initial appts and then we stayed in the area for 5 weeks post-op. I'm glad we made this decision, as I ended up needing readmission for a complication. I certainly could have been hospitalized at home in Chicago but just felt safer being near "The Clinic." We stayed at a property in Shaker Heights through this company: https://reilly-properties.com/. Though initially I wasn't thrilled about staying outside of the immediate vicinity of the hospital, I was happy in the end. The property was lovely with a backyard and plenty of space. It was very safe and Shaker Heights is adorable! It provided lots of nice parks and shaded sidewalks for me to walk during recovery. One thing to note is that we packed an entire car full of stuff from Chicago and you won't be able to do this from Singapore so a home rental might not be the best option for you. A friend stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental on the CC campus - they were quite accommodating, with supplying a recliner and I hear the food there is quite good!
