Hey Ray, Best of luck with your surgery, as you know you are in really great hands! My father, Thomas McInerney just had his valve replaced last month, Dr. Jaber is his doctor as well and is my brother in law :) so I can really say you are in GREAT hands! My father is recovering nicely and is finally able to get a little back to normal since he has graduated to take the steps to the 2nd floor. Again, best of luck with your surgery. For your family members, please let them know that the best place to get rest while you are in surgery is the Miller Family Pavilion on the top floor. It's a great view of the city, very comfortable chairs and the best place to wait while they are fixing up your heart! Many blessing to you!

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and well wishes! Lisa, it blows me away that my doctor at Clevland Clinic is your brother-in-law!! I have seen him every year for the past thirteen years! He is one of the very few doctors I have met that treats you like a friend rather than a patient.
