hi..I did this surgery last September aortic value replacement and mitral repair at Cleveland Clinic. If you have any questions let me know. I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery. It is true what they say after post -op surgery emotional Roll- coaster ride. Stay strong..positive energy

My appointment with the cardiology surgeons in Tallahassee, FL is scheduled for 2/22. In the meantime I have been doing some research on other physicians and hospitals. If I have the aortic valve replacement in Tallahassee, I am only an hour from home. I have been looking into Advent Hosptal... Read more.
I can't remember the name, but someone on here just had surgery at Advent. Hopefully, she will respond.
As far as surgeons, Dr. Lamelas, is a pioneer in minimum-invasive and just moved back to Miami. He is considered one of the best for aortic replacement.

Dr Accola is doing my mitral valve repair on Feb 19. He did my friends Aortic Valve this past summer, with a tissue valve that can be replaced in the future if needed with a valve in valve repair.
