Send Suzanne a NoteAbout Me
After years of feeling terrible and seeing many doctors I was diagnosed with mitral regurgitation. For years i was told it's anxiety or depression and i should see a psychiatrist, no one checked my heart until i found a new primary that took me seriously and sent me to a cardiologist. The day i was diagnosed we were told how severe it was and that something would need done sooner rather than later. I had a very long and stressful 1.5 years of tests. Heart cath, TEE, lots of ekg's and echos. Lasix and high blood pressure meds. Every time i was told lets give it 3 more months. On March 30 i ended up in the emergency room with chest pain, vomiting and loss of control over hands, hand seized up. Elevated traponin levels and another heart cath performed. Spent 3 days in the hospital and was told would need surgery soon. After many changes of surgery date, surgery scheduled for 4-18-19
