About Me

I have been diagnosed with Severe Aortic Stenosis. I live in the west panhandle of Florida, new to the area. I have had the a diagnostics: heart cath, CT scan. I am 72 with Type 2 diabetes. I am meeting with the physicians at the Heart Valve Clinic in Tallahassee on Feb 22. I have already been told that the choices will be SAVR or TAVR. I really don't consider myself a high risk for surgery. I am really confused about the data on TAVR.
