Welcome! There are a lot of people on here who have had the same surgery as you and are doing well. There's also a wealth of information on this site to help ease your fears. Where are you having your replacement?

I can fully understand you being nervous having a previous botched surgery. Make sure that your heart surgeon has an outstanding reputation with the specific type of heart surgery you are having and make sure he/she does it a lot. Ask lots of questions about the last time he had... Read more.
