Today is my one year heart💕Anniversary. I can’t believe how a year flys by. I was very thankful for this wonderful site,that helped me get to my aortic valve surgery, and recovery. As Adam would say keep on ticking

Today is my six-month aortic heart valve surgery anniversary. How time fly’s. For those of you waiting for OHS you well get through this. The anxiety is the worst. I am doing good. Life is back to normal. God bless you all.

I was in the waiting room for two years, for aortic valve stenosis. I had my aortic valve surgery on October 9,2018. I went with the tissue valve. For two years I read the post of these heart warriors. It seems when it is your turn for surgery you have the heart warriors that just went through it or going through it with you. Then you have the other heart warriors that are here for us always. I am also a breast cancer survivor, plus bladder cancer survivor. I am also a diabetic type 2. You know, I am still here doing well. I am cancer free, my sugar is under control, and I am so trying to eat better, and I am exercising more. I started cardio rehab the day before Thanksgiving, will be ending it on January 30th,2019. The cardio rehab really done me good. I go twice a week. The days I don’t go I excise at home. I wish Adam would go back to a year or two on the name of the warriors, so the new comers could read their journal. I kept some names of the heart warriors and when I needed it, I put their name in and went to their journal to read which help me with my issues. I walk a lot before my surgery, it had calms me down some. My anxiety was high, my doctor gave me Alprazolam 0.25mg to help me. The closer I was to my surgery this medicine help me. Plus, this website was a good sent. Thank You Adam I wish you all the best in your surgery’s, and for those in recovery. This website is the best. We all know how your feel about going into surgery, and recovery.

I went to cardio rehab yesterday. Did my stretches in the beginning when on the treadmill and two different bicycles. I am 6 weeks post-op. Have to wait 2 weeks to do my arms and my shoulders in exercising. All was good. I go 2 days out of the week Monday and Wednesday.

I will be starting cardio rehab on Monday. I will have orientation first and talk to a nurse. IT been 5 weeks and 3-days post-op. It amazing how time fly’s. I started walking on the treadmill, to build myself up, but not over doing it Plus walking in the mall. The weather has been cold here and snowing. For those going into surgery, you can do this. I had such anxiety before surgery. The day came, and I got thru it. Of course, with the help of my sisters and brothers the heart warriors here, and my family and friends.

Went to see my follow up with my surgen today. I am 3 weeks post-op. I will start my cardio Rehab after week 4. Told me I could drive after week 4. Takin a asprin a day, and I am on metoprolo. I wll see my cardiologist in the beginning of December, and will have a echogram, and see the doctor. Everything is falling in place.

I saw my primary doctor on 10/18/18. Today I saw my cardiologist. No heart murmur. Medication still the same. Both said to me your still healing. I will be 2 weeks post-op tomorrow.I see my surgeon next week. Doing my walking. I am a diabetic type 2 my sugar been going up and down. Primary doctor is helping me on this

Yesterday went to the super market with my husband. I wore a mask over my nose and mouth. The weather is getting cold and damp. Just don't want to catch some else germ. The walking felt good. I am also walking around the house. Today I put a Heating pad on my upper shoulder and back of my neck. They are just so sore. Felt better later.

For thoses who had surgery. My husband wants to take me out to dinner. You see my Anniversary in on October 9, day of my surgery. I was suppose to have in September, but my surgeon was book up with other surgies. If I didn't take the 9, I was looking at mid October. My husband wants me fixs and to move on. If we have a glass of wine, how many days should there be no alcohl before surgery. Or, should I call the doctor

I was at Buffalo General Hospital yesterday. Did all my pre-testing for my surgery. I was there from 9 AM thru 1:30 PM. Saw my Surgeon Dr. Grosner. Talked to me and my husband about the surgery. He really made me feel calmer. Dr. Grosner is going to do the minimally invasive approach on me. Asked him a lot of questions, and he inform with a lot of information. I am going with Edward tissue valve. For all those going for surgeries my prayers are with you.

Tomorrow I will finish up with my pre-test at Buffalo General Hospital. Then at the end I will see my surgeon, with more questions. God bless all who are going to surgery. May God have his hand on you .

I would like to thank Dan and Rob for being so positive, in helping us face our surgies. I am turning around, tired of getting my self so upset. Just thank you guys, and the others that helps us well. What a family we have here

Dr office called. I will befinishing my tests on September 25. After all is done I will speak to my surgeon again. I am told I will see a movie on the procedure. So glad I read Adam book and having everybody in this room

Adam, I am reaching out to about your store. Some of us who has the heart surgery don't get a heart pillow. I feel you should make this an item so we can purchase the heart pillow in the store. I think it would go big.

My surgery will be on October 9,2018. Dr, Grosner wants me to do a couply more test. then I will see the doctor one more time. I saw him when I had my cath test for the heart. Gave me the whole picture, but I want to see where I am after all these test I will be doing.

I arrived at Buffalo General Vasseular Hospital at 11 AM Had my test done around 4 PM. They had an emergency, that set every body back on there schedule. The nurses took good of me. They even morate my sugar. My sugar took a dip, and they were able to bring it up for me. The Cath test did not hurt, a little pressure. The doctor went through my rist right hand. Could not get through. I had scare tissue from my last Cath heart test 43 years ago. I had coarctation of the aorta. I have no blockage in my heart, but sever aorta heart valve. The surgeon Dr Grosner came to talk me. Explain every thing to me and my husband. He will require more test, me being a diabetic they will morate my blood for the sugar . Of course we heard there is 1 percent I could die. But I am a good candidate for surgery. I will get a phone call later Surgery next month, and more test to come

Thank you for gifting the staff at the hospital with the brilliance and skill to excel at administering medical healing. Thank you for the training that the surgeons and medical staff have received to perform [name’s] surgery today. We ask that You would be their wisdom and guide their hands as the ultimate Physician. Let the surgery go smoothly and with no complications. Bring a full recovery to [name] and leave no sign of illness. Show Your healing power today.

Moving alone, so far I had a my CT scan which the results were good. Enchogram showed my aortic stenosis is severe. Going for my chest x-ray this afternoon, tomorrow blood work for the cath heart test for next Monday. I saw my primarty doctor today. Even though I am a diabetic 2 it is under control. Reality is setting in.

Having my cath test done on August 27, at Vasseular Hospital. Ater the test I will be there a while, and the surgeon Dr. Grosner will check out my Cath test and come talk to me about my aortic valve. Getting Scary
