That's not a silly question at all! Maria is right that some people have bigger scarring issues, but I can say mine is almost invisible now, like 2 1/2 years later. You can see on my journals a few pics, and it used to be nice and noticeable. I kind of miss it, to be honest. It's a badge of courage. I don't think anybody seeing my chest would really notice it today, unless they were looking or I pointed it out. I don't really bare my chest in public a lot, but like I suppose in a gym shower area or something. I have a woman friend who told her surgeon she needed it to be minor, so they arranged to have a plastic surgeon close the wound. I didn't have that, or need it, but it has been done before.
