I know after a full sternotomy, I wasn’t able to drive for 2 months while the sternum healed. I would think by 3 months you might feel like a little ride, depending how everything else is going. I also did cardiac rehab starting 3 weeks after surgery, where I pedaled the rehab bike three times a week for 8 weeks…

Hopefully that want happen, but if you fall there will be a lot of stress on your sternum. Hence, it really should be completely healed. Most surgeons will tell you that's after about 3 months. My surgeon also told me 3 months for all sports except for golf (which I don't play) I should wait 6 months. That's in regards to your sternum. Of course you will also have to consider how fit you are. Start easy and keep increasing it.
