You are in my thoughts and prayers as you count down to your surgery. I pray that you find peace within yourself, and let go of the anxiety, especially at night. I am 7 weeks post OHS for mitral valve repair, and I have been hiking 2 or more miles everyday. Focus on the fact that you too will be able to do the things you love to do again without all the symptoms. The first few days after surgery will be challenging, but everyday after that gets a little better, until you are completely healed. Best of luck, keep us posted. I will say a prayer for you, Kelly. I know just how you feel. I don't have a date for my surgery, but my thoughts keep going to it, and I am scared, too. I have to accept what I can't change, so I know that I am not in control. We will get through it! In this wonderful group of heart sisters and brothers there are lots of prayers, and support.
