Good afternoon, I had my double valve replacement surgery 10 years ago and it can feel very lonely sometimes. I'm glad to have found a community.

Welcome Grace - sending a hug! My surgery was a little over 3 months ago, and it is a lonely place to be sometimes as no one gets it unless they have been through it. You are among friends here. Congrats on 10 years!! Something to be thankful for.

I had my surgery in June 2019, mitral valve repair, and I know exactly how you feel. Ok most of the time but a life changing experience that most people do not understand. A community like this can be very supportive and a safe space to share our emotions❤️
