Yesterday was one of those days. Had labored breathing and in pain.I think I overdid it trying to help my son finish up his project which was due. Spent most of my day in bed. Just walked around the house and took my pain meds. Hoping to get up and walk outside today. Whenever I take the metoprolol in the morning makes me dizzy and blurry. Feeling some numbness and sensitivity near my right groin incision. Hoping for a better day today

My surgery was a success. The surgeon was able to repair the valve . I developed some fluids to my right lungs and was not able to breathe without oxygen so Friday they did thoracentesis to pull out the fluids and by Sarturday I could breathe on my on. Spent a total of 5 days in the hospital. Was discharged on Monday and so far so good. I was able to start eating well on Monday After the nausea decreased. I am on tramadol for pain and so far I take it twice a day. Yesterday went for a walk with my husband and I did well. Didn't have a lot dizziness.Dr smith and staff at Baylor heart Plano gave me excellent care. Lastly I want to thank all of you for the support throughout this journey. As we continue to recover and encourage each other.
