Sad news biopsies came back positive for pre-cancer cells. Had Ct & Pet-can of abdomen . They did not corrolate. Scheduled for another endoscopy and laporoscopy next week. Keep me in prayer. Thanks for support.

Saw the heart doctor yesterday, everything looks good. EKG shows NSR, with an occasional PVC. Incision healing well,no signs of infection. Cleared for endoscopy on Monday. Lost 1lb. Both doctors think it may be gastroparesis. Hoping it can be cured.

Doctor was quite impressed with my knowledge of GI problems related to valvular replacement and repair, thank to Gerald Poulton. I am scheduled for an endoscopy next after a few test. Lost 5 more lbs. I'm to start High Protein Boost milkshakes at least 3x day. He does not want me loosing anymore weight and to be able to take my medicine. Thank you again Gerald. Gerald Poulton So, if any of you get sick as in cant eat and throwing up after your heart surgery, read the section under my journal that is titled OHS complications, I came down with Duodenitis on day 1 or 2 and ended up in emergency ward after returning home, caused by the OH surgery and being placed on a breathing machine.

Gerald Poulton Welcome Barbara, happy to be able to help and better to read it here than spend days sick and 7 hours in emergency ward. The emerg doctor set me up to see a specialst and have the scan, but my doctor cancelled it since it was obviously connected to my surgery. The acid blocker they gave me helped in less than a day, I am on it for a month, no scan if it is fine after the meds, sure hope it helps you to, medicine is Pantoprazole 40 mgs, I feel soooooo much better

Gerald Poulton Sorry to hear of your tough times, all I can say is that my internal medicine specialist was called the hydration doctor, he could not stress how important it is to be super hydrated all of the tine, worked for me as I prob drink 4 - 8 pints of water per day. Cant go wrong with lots of fresh water
