About Me

I was bone with a genetic bone disease called "Osteogenesis Imperfecta" the underlining issue is the lack of type 1 collagen and I've been told this is why I developed Mitral valve regurgitation. Summer of '18, I started being short of breath when I would exert myself (walking, working out, using the stairs) so I went to get a check-up. My primary told me it might be Asthma since I have a family history with it and he said my heart was beating a mile a minute. He asked if I knew about my heart murmur and I said yeah, every doctor has told me that growing up. Long story short: I got sent for tests and to see a cardiologist and in September 2018 I was diagnosed with Mitral valve regurgitation.
