About Me

I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and have known for quite some time that I would need to have the valve replaced. Over the past several years, I have developed stenosis. My Dr. recommended that I have surgery now, rather than waiting until I develop symptoms. I am scheduled for valve replacement, aneurysm repair, and a Maze procedure on Wednesday, July 13.
