About Me

When I was 15 I had Strep Throat that went untreated and developed Scarlet Fever. I am now a 42 year old mother of three, Aztec dancer, and urban farmer. Less than a year ago I started having syncope episodes with exercise. I was told it was my blood pressure dropping, just sudden change in temperature. I fainted several times without going in. A second ambulance ride to the ER finally got EKG & follow up tests ordered. On May 24th, 2016 my echo showed severe stenosis of the Aortic Valve. I had an Angiogram on June 9th and hope to schedule surgery on Monday. My aortic valve opening is at .7! It is so critical I am considering not getting a second opinion and just scheduling asap!
