About Me

I am a 39 year old male who is very active and healthy. In November of 2014, during an elective heart exam, I was diagnosed with a Bicuspid Aortic valve and an Aneurysm of the ascending Aorta. During my initial consultation with CC surgeons, it was recommended that I do not have surgery and take the wait and watch approach for 6 months. I had my second consultation 2/5 and the Aneurism is stable (4.6cm echo, 4.8 cm CT). I have very mild Aortic regurgitation with no symptoms. I actually moved my second appointment up two months with Dr. Svensson to ask him to do the procedure so I can get this behind me. I could not twist his arm and was put back in the waiting room for another year.
