Hi Matt, thanks for sharing your story! What procedure are you going to do?

Hopefully they will be able to repair the Aortic Valve as it is leaking mildly with no calcification. Ascending Aorta has reached 5.0 CM and that is the main reason for the surgery. I had a good run of watching for 7 years !

Hi Matt- Best of luck to you. My husband is also a candidate for the David Procedure. In your investigations have you come across any surgeons who do this via a mini-sternotomy?

Hi, Joan. I am currently in the waiting and watching mode for a bicuspid valve and Aneurysm of the Ascending Aorta. Other folks on this site are probably more familiar with the David procedure than I am. Best of luck!
