This was second aortic valve replacement after the first one was destroyed by a bacterial infection. First surgery was 18 months previous. First surgery my hospital stay was 3 days with mini sternotomy . Second surgery required 5 days in hospital . After 6 weeks feel great and able to get back to everyday activities.
